New classes. New teachers. New friends. New clothes.
Sometimes even a ridiculous new haircut.
(Oy, the memories.)
The thing is, that pattern went on for a good dozen years, right?
So it got lodged in our subconscious where it continues to influence us.
Even when we’re not aware of it.
Essentially we’re conditioned to expect things to change in September.
So when your fees change then, too?
It doesn’t seem all that odd.
So if it’s been awhile since you raised your rates, choose a date in September.
Then follow the steps you learned in last week’s article to give your clients a friendly heads up …
And the opportunity to stock up on sessions at your current rate now.
Now if you don’t increase your fees next month, don’t worry.
You’ll have another opportunity in January.
Thanks to the “New Year, New You” trend, that’s the other best month to raise your rates.
